Intimate wedding - chateau bouthonvilliers
Intimate wedding in a french chateau
She comes from South Africa. He's from Romania. They live together in France, in the Paris region. They wished to exchange vows in front of a small gathering, right in the heart of the resplendent Château de Bouthonvilliers, before the grand celebration next year in Cape Town. I had the chance to cover this intimate wedding between Kat & Ioni, two individuals of rare kindness. And look at them, aren't they magnificent?
They chose the Château de Bouthonvilliers as the setting for their wedding. Located in the Dunois, precisely in Perche Goët, a charming region that separates Beauce from Perche, the Chateau is just 1.5 hours away from the center of Paris. A magnificent forested area, spanning over 100 hectares, surrounds this residence formerly known as Boscovilore (House of the Woods).
The Château de Bouthonvilliers is surrounded by a beautiful 20-hectare English-style park, classified as a Historic Monument. The property also features outbuildings, a 'small' French-style park, a 1-hectare vegetable garden, a swimming pool, a body of water, and a chapel established in the 19th century within a 16th-century dovecote. This chapel is still consecrated and can accommodate around fifty people for religious ceremonies.
